Who Else Wants To Understand Metal Detector Reviews?

The range and number of segments in the scale can determine the accuracy and precision of target identification. A discrimination scale segments the range of metals by their conductivity, normally from low conductivity through to high conductivity. The horizontal axis rates the extent of the target’s ferrous characteristics (FE), ranging 0–31 from right to left. The vertical axis rates the target on its size/conductivity (CO), ranging 0–31 from bottom to top.

With the advanced digital display and the ease of handling, this is an excellent treasure hunting detector for the really devoted hobbyist. If you’re an experienced user, and you’re looking for the detector most tuned to treasure hunting, this might be the answer.

From an archaeological perspective, the device allows researchers to find and preserve historical artifacts at sites that would otherwise be extremely difficult to detect. The receiver consists of another coil of electric wire that acts as an antenna used to both pick up and amplify frequencies originating from objects buried underground. The transmitter contains a coil of electric wire through which a current is sent in one direction and then another. The control box contains all of the detector’s internal circuitry, controls, its speaker, and microprocessor. Most detectors also have a headphone jack for listening to the device’s audible beep alerts when it finds something.

The GPZ 7000 is just the best Gold Detector there is currently with its extensive features such as Precision Ground Balance and the Maximum Gold Sensitivity you can just search much more and deeper (more than 40%) than with other detectors. The XP DEUS has 10 basic programs  Basic 1, GM Power, DEUS Fast, Pitch, G-Maxx, Relic, Wet beach, Dry beach, Basic 2 and Gold Field) which are very much for a metal detector.

Its display only offers the most basic features: a power knob, eliminator knob and target indicator meter. This detector weighs in at only two pounds and can be adjusted to be 26 to 36 inches in length. This detector has been rated as one of the best youth detectors in other review sites. This means that while using this detector you will be able to find most treasures, including those buried underwater and amid trash, but will likely miss out on a few that other higher-rated detectors would find. Because this detector came with such an excellent range of options and features on the display, we were a bit disappointed that it did not score more highly on some of our tests.

Even with the coil wire wrapping around it, you won’t have to worry about damage. The long unprotected pole that connects the coil and the console is stronger than it looks. You can also make a decision based on the amount of buttons available to the user, since more buttons offer a higher level of customization when searching for metals.

Here, we wanted to test the ability of each detector to find all types of metal. Fourth, we submitted each detector to an underwater test in which we tested how well the detectors sensed the coins, relics and gold when they were submerged several inches. Third, we performed a depth test in which we buried the coins, relics and gold several inches deep and then tested how well the detectors sensed them. First, we set up a general detection test in which we searched for relics, coins and gold that we scattered on the sand. At the beach, we put all seven metal detectors through five tests.

Not every machine gets built for the same purpose, so you have to familiarize yourself with the different types of metal detectors before deciding on one. All Bounty Hunter metal detectors come with a five-year limited warranty that backs faulty machinery. This ensures that you do not waste your time digging up trash and you focus your time on the precious metals and valuable treasures you want to find. This is also a good beginner detector for young adults and kids. As you are going along the detector adjusts according to whatever is underneath you.
